~ Prayer ~

Prayer is foundational at The Church of the Open Door - NTF. We are and always will be a praying Church. I think of how Jesus prayed in the Garden, "God's will be done". Let us pray theat His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. All glory to God!

Prayer is being in the presense of God. It is a place where pride has no place, hope is lifted, and supplication is made to Abba Daddy through our Lord Jesus. Prayer is the place of admitting our needs, of taking humility, and claiming total dependence upon God. It is a place of stillness to hear from God.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." ~Matthew 11:27-29

Prayer Warriors - are called to justice and righteousness. They are people known for regularly and earnestly interceding on the behalf of others before God. Prayer Warriors are like defense attorneys, appealing to the Higher Court on behalf of their defendants. We're all guilty before God, but God is merciful. Prayer Warriors recognize that quality of God's personality and call on Him for intervention.

Do not be afraid---I am with you! I am your God--- let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you. ~Isaiah 41:10
